Why is Show Details disabled for Scorecard views

The "Show Details" option is only enabled if the data for the KPI is sourced from Analysis Services and if the KPI calculation column is set to Source Data.

 

This is because the Show Details feature is implemented using Analysis Services "drill through".

    the source data option is not available - I am using a mdx formula to retrieve data from a cube - any other way to get the show details option for scorecards?
