Augmented Reality with Kinect

I am hugely fascinated with augmented reality technologies.

Look at this video from Microsoft Research.

Human race constantly strive for improvements of our physical space using technologies; living in multi-story buildings, air conditioning, eco-friendly building materials, energy saving lights, etc. At the same time, we put massive amount of effort to expand our cyberspace to close "distances" in the physical world; Web 2.0, social networks, micro-blogging, online videos, VOIP, smart phones, etc. The interface between physical and cyberspace has always been keyboard, mouse, touchscreens.

It is time to blur the gap with something like this.
