Request: Help us improve Programming Windows 8 Apps with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Greetings. You might already be familiar with Kraig Brockschmidt’s free ebook Programming Windows 8 Apps with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, which we published in October. We’ve tracked over 300,000 downloads of it from the Microsoft Download Center alone, and it has also topped the Top 100 Free list in the Computers & Technology category of the Kindle Store. (Today it’s #9.) Well, we’re happy to say that we’re planning to update the ebook this year as the Windows ecosystem evolves.
To that end, a request: please tell us in the comments below or by writing me at devonm at microsoft.com what we can do to improve the ebook. Here’s what we’d love to hear:
- Coverage that’s missing in the current ebook that you would find helpful in our update.
- Content in the current ebook that you find particularly helpful and that you’d like us to amplify or fine-tune.
- Content in the current ebook that you find less helpful and that you’d like us to improve.
We look forward to your thoughts. As Charlie Parker recorded, oh, 23 or so times on disc, “Now’s the time”!
