How To: Switch Source Control Providers in VS.NET (ReduxRedux)
Serdar Kilic (cool
name::pronunciation unknown) has also written a utility for switching
SCC providers on the fly. I haven't had a chance to compare it to Soenke
Schau's tool (also a cool name::pronunciation unknown) that I mentioned in a
recent
post. If you get a chance to compare and contrast (or have written any
other SCC tools!), please post your comments.

Well, since you are asking, I feel compelled to mention my own SourceSelector, available halfway down this page: http://nidaros.homedns.org/subway/. That makes three! Perhaps MS should take the hint, and include such functionality in VS.Anonymous

By far the one with richest interface and easier to use is Soenke Schau's SccSwitcher. It is a native executable that runs as a system tray application, has nice icons in menus, allows setting the scc provider to [none], allows starting the standalone application for each provider, runs on startup, etc.The downside: you have to compile it yourself, so you'll need a VC compiler.Serdar Kilic's SCPSelector is a managed executable (requires .NET Frameworks), runs as system tray application, menus are not that rich as SccSwitcher has.Tor Hovland's SourceSelector is also a managed executable(requires .NET Frameworks), has a simple interface (dialog with selection combobox) but does the job... (I remember I saw a while ago an equivalent native application, with a similar interface, but I don't remember the link)Anonymous
