Configure IE8 to Get the Total Bing Experience

Now that Bing has launched, you may wish to update your browser experience to fully take advantage of this awesome new search experience.

Make Bing your default search provider

To determine your current default provider select the drop down box located in the upper right corner of your IE browser window.

To update to Bing, browse to https://www.ieaddons.com/en/searchproviders or select “Find More Providers” in the drop down box.

Locate the Bing Search add-on and select “Add to Internet Explorer”

To make Bing your default search provider be sure to check the box and then hit the Add button.

That’s it. Bing is now your default search provider.

Select Make Bing your homepage

To change your Bing preferences, go to https://www.bing.com/settings.aspx
