Architect Roundtable – Microsoft Mobility Platform Overview
This is the first of the 4 series that my team will host in the coming months. This discussion will provide a broad overview of the Windows Mobile platform, including device management and security, of WM6 and Exchange 2007, as well as the custom application opportunity with VS2005 and SQL2005. Discover how the robust mobile platform, which you may already have implemented or are planning to implement, can be leveraged to deliver secure, productive, and cost effective mobile solutions to meet the needs of mobile users of your business. The presentation is followed by an interactive discussion session by all participants.
Topics in the future series include Windows Mobility Infrastructure Architecture, Windows Mobility Application Architecture, and Windows Mobile Platform Roadmap.

Speaker’s Bio
Jeff Morris, Enterprise Mobility Specialist, Microsoft Mid-Atlantic States. A 9 year veteran of Microsoft, responsible for managing the Windows Mobile franchise for the Mid Atlantic States District, Jeff works closely with the Mobile Operators, Device Manufacturers, and ISV and System Integrator Partner channel to assist organizations in defining and implementing their enterprise mobility strategy. He has over 12 years of mobile device experience, and prior roles within Microsoft include application and infrastructure technology specialist disciplines. Prior to joining Microsoft, Jeff worked in the enterprise sector as a Lead Technical Architect for a large Pittsburgh-based aluminum manufacturer.
