Microsoft Security Bulletin: Out of Band Release for September 2010!
Tomorrow we will be releasing an out of band security bulletin. The new security bulletin addresses a security vulnerability in all versions of Windows so make sure you apply it to your systems when it comes out. The bulletin addresses a publicly disclosed vulnerability in ASP.NET and affects all version of the .NET framework. This mostly affects when .NET is used with the Windows Server operating system but if you do run a web server on a client operating system such as Windows 7 you will be affected.
