Zune 2

We have just announced our next versions of Zune 2.

The full collection

The Zune 80

This is what the Zune 4GB and 8GB will look like

They will be available in 4GB, 8GB and 80GB models.  Some of the cool features include WiFi sync to the host computer, so no need for cables to transfer all your music, videos, podcasts etc.  There will also be new software for the Zune, additional native codecs such as h.264 and MPEG-4 and the ability to sync your media center video straight to your Zune.  The round navigation button has been replaced by the "squircle", this is touch senstive plus offers regular directional functionality.

No word on Australian availability but I'll let you know when I find out.

@Dileepa No word on internet connectivity at the moment!  But I hear you, it would be cool to download tracks through the net through wifi.

Are they going to let it connect to the internet this time?? Because, you know....then the wireless would actually be useful for something other than saving you $20 on a usb cable.

It would be nice to see an Australian release that isn't ages behind the US this time around...
