Error: "We cant connect to xbox service right now”

Are you gettings this error, maybe together with a 0xc1010190 or 0xc00d1198? I didn’t spend much time troubleshooting but this is what fixed it for me:

1. Uninstall the Modern App by right clicking the tile

 

2. Reboot the PC

3. Re-install the application from the store.

Without the reboot in between I couldn’t get the app to work.
