I believe that while others have been working on the solution, this last dude set up a hammock between 2 cubicles.  But not totally sure.

It's a play on words, instead of just saying he's strung up a hammock between the two cubicles, he's established a host so that he's connected to two cubicles, like a host computer who's connected to other computers on a network, or the net...
