Sorry, but I will no longer read this non-sense. Really, programmers being taken to work with a corporate (?) helicopter to debug a program! Get out of here. This is more like Al Bundy early years before he got involved in shoe-selling (I concur with Reuben). I've got nothing against Michael, he is a very talented cartoon artist and the quality of the drawings is near perfect (I could even compare it to the artwork of Don Lawrence) but the story is a bummer. If people really think that the life of a programmer - however good he or she is - is like this and decide to learn to become one, they will land harsh, face down in the manure (if they are lucky). Sorry Michael, you are making great drawings but you are wasting your talent on this rubbish you are making for your bosses.Anonymous

Guys, lighten up! It's a comic, not a testimonial of what all developers do!!! Plus, I would love it if a corporate helicopter came to pick me up!!! It's just for fun, so enjoy it for what it is...and if you don't like it, change the channel!Anonymous

I love this comic.. brightens my mornings. And have we proven that he is 'only' a programmer? NO! For all we know he could be white hat! Hackers need to know as many if not more languages than some programmers... and these are the CLI ones... not VB. :P Sec Pros work 24/7 and a number of things... yes, including 'debugging'. Also, the chopper just adds to the leet factor. I agree... If you don't like it, go back to reading Forbes and leave the web comics to those who enjoy having a laugh.Anonymous

I'm still waiting for the fun to start. It wouldn't be so bad if the dialog wasn't so boring and cliche.Anonymous
