Groove 2007: Forms best practices
My colleagues have just published a new paper MSDN that describes some of the best practices for using Groove forms, and scripting within the forms.

The Microsoft Office Groove 2007 Forms tool provides a framework that enables you to create customized forms for displaying and entering data. You can create fields, forms, and views and enhance the look of your forms using available styles or by creating custom styles. You can also use form scripts to add custom script code to your Groove Forms tool. These scripts run when the user is accessing the form. Scripts make it possible for you to extend the capabilities of the Forms tool to handle specialized application requirements. This article describes how to develop the design and how to organize the design elements so that the design is easier to maintain. You can use the best practices for any Forms tool design even if you do not add scripts.

The Microsoft® Office Groove® 2007 Welcome Page tool provides a simple, rich text editor that can be used to create a starting or welcome page for any Groove 2007 workspace.
Add a Welcome page to introduce Groove members who are invited to the workspace to the purpose and content contained within the workspace.
The Microsoft® Office Groove® 2007 Contacts Tracker tool is designed to maintain a list of contacts relevant to the team using the workspace. Use the Contacts Tracker to track detailed contacts in the workspace rather than relying on a general, larger list of Groove contacts in the Groove Launchbar. The Contacts Tracker can also track people not in the workspace and even people who don’t use Groove. The tool leverages available information from your contacts list for other Groove users.
Add the Contacts Tracker tool to new workspaces to support communication among workspace members and external contacts.
