Microsoft Fix it Solution to move standard toolbar location in Internet Explorer is Live!
How do I move the Standard toolbar to a location that is above the Address bar in Internet Explorer 7 or Internet Explorer 8?
We just released another Fix it Knowledge Base (KB) article. This Fix it addresses the following scenario:
In Windows Internet Explorer 7 and Windows Internet Explorer 8.0, you can press a keyboard combination, such as ALT+F, to open a menu on the Standard toolbar. When you do this, the Standard toolbar appears under the Address bar. However, you may want the Standard toolbar to appear above the Address bar.

I did not find a answer as to how to make the menu bar complete with the word "File" in it. This makes working with IE8 hard if not impossible to use. How do I fix this apparent problem?Anonymous

This worked out just fine. However, do you all have a similiar fix to change the location/position of the "command bar" and or "favorites bar" too? I think that'd be better.Anonymous
