Git Team Foundation Services, NOW!
See how I combined Git with Team Foundation Services? It is no typo, you can use Git, not GitHub which is a different thing that monetizes Git, with Team Foundation Services. You need to give Team Foundation Services a try with Visual Studio 2013, which is an awesome combination. Over the next few weeks I will be using the Team Foundation Services (TFS) with GIT and discussing how I use it in my every day work. This way I can fool my manager into thinking I am actually working while actually surfing (remember this is a secret communications between you and me so don’t tell him).
Why is this important, the whole Git and TFS thing? TFS will work with most development systems, not only Microsoft oriented tools like Visual Studio, this definitely includes Eclipse!

Read the article for stuff like: “Microsoft realized that … and so forth” But Git and GitHub is pretty good stuff and that they needed to be supportive. Which I think is a good idea and one that bodes well for MSFT.
Ok, get signed up at: https://tfs.visualstudio.com/en-us/tfs-welcome.aspx
You get it for free and you get Git, get it?
