SnagIt Output for OneNote 2007

It looks like the great folks at TechSmith, makers of SnagIt & Camtasia Studio, have released an accessory output for OneNote 2007.  You can read about it here: SnagIt Output for Microsoft OneNote 2007:

Use SnagIt to send your screen captures to Microsoft OneNote 2007 (graphic)

Use SnagIt to capture, edit, and share exactly what you see on your screen – fast.

SnagIt’s output for OneNote 2007 lets you add screen captures to any of your note pages with a single click. While there’s always the capture tool in OneNote, sometimes you need a few more options. With SnagIt you can capture scrolling windows, edit your captures, and place them exactly where you want them in your notes.

I am glad to see someone using our API and if you are a SnagIt & OneNote user you should check it out: SnagIt Output for Microsoft OneNote 2007.

Update @ 7/25/2007 10:24 PM: I saw that Kathy Jacobs blogged about this as well: Snagit to OneNote!  Looks like Kathy is having a give away of some SnagIt & Camtasia product keys!  See here:

Last December, I did a User Group tour for TechSmith on SnagIt. I was given a number of key sets to give away. I just discovered that I have a pair of keys left over. A pair of keys? Yes! A key to SnagIt and a key to Camtasia! These keys will be given away as one prize to the user who sends me the best example of why then need SnagIt and the OneNote accessory.

To enter, drop me a comment with what the new accessory lets you do. Make sure you provide your email address so I can contact you. Contest entries must be received by 8:00 am Arizona time on August 1st. I will announce the winner as soon as I choose one. I will email the keys to the winner and announce it here.

Wow that is awesome Kathy!

I just bought Snag It because of this plugin. And it went beyond my expectations.

Hi, I searched over from Evernote 2.0 to Outlook 2007 and I haven't looked back. Your 2 sorting power toys were just what I needed, but there was one more thing I liked from Evernote that is still missing. In Evernote, when the categorizes were listed (if I remember correctly, that was what they were called), it showed the number of notes in the category.  Can that be added to Evernote? Thanks, Alan
