The Merge Wizard is Wonderful, but not of Oz

I was going to take some advice from the comments in my last post, and do a more ViSual version of my merge examples. However, I got a little ways into it and realized it was going to be even longer and complicated (read: BORING) than the last one, even with a few screenshots to liven it up.

So, outline a few scenarios you'd like to see demonstrated, and I'll try to focus/filter the post to be more interesting and 'to the point' based on what you request.

Oh, and if you have a preference for 'full screen' screenshots as opposed to just showing the interesting area inside a window, speak up on that, too. I'd prefer to give the full sized screenshots, but those are a little obnoxious to place in a blog post unless you prefer to see them that way...
