Build Business Applications Quickly with Visual Studio LightSwitch
Check it out, the Jan/Feb 2011 issue of CoDe Magazine is out and I’ve got an article in there on Visual Studio LightSwitch. In this article I give a good overview of what LightSwitch is and what it can do. I also take you on a tour of the development and deployment experience and well as the capabilities of this newest member of the Visual Studio family.
Read it: Build Business Applications Quickly with Visual Studio LightSwitch
BTW, if you tried to access page 2 of this article before it was locked out. The editors just unlocked the entire article so you don’t need a subscription to read the whole thing. Thanks CoDe!
Enjoy!

Beth, is this article strictly on Beta 1 or did you slip in some Beta 2 features in or is Beta 2 just a Beta 1 with fixed bugs, meaning this article applies to Beta 2 as well? Even though we're getting close to Beta 2, but I keep seeing new articles and materials coming out. It makes me to believe, that Beta 2 is very much the same as beta 1. Am I right? Please tell me I'm wrong (I'll make me feel better for the first time :-) ..BenAnonymous

Hi Ben, This is an overview article that explains the general capabilities that LightSwitch will have at RTM. A lot of these features are already available in Beta 1. Cheers, -BAnonymous
