In Outlook 2003 we could color code messages from different people. For example I would color code all my clients green and my employees blue. That way it was easy for me to go to the client e-mails first. I just went to tools and organize and then use color and selected the e-mail and the color. Then that person's e-mails would always be green and I could make as many clients as I have green. Can this be done in 2010? - Anonymous

Also, would it be possible to change background color as well as font color as it is seen in Lotus Notes? Is there an Add-In for this additional 2010 functionality? - Anonymous

2010 Really is not as good or user friendly as earlier versions....the color coding of emails that was so easy before has been destroyed by this new version...recommendation is stick with earlier versions and dont waste your money... - Anonymous

Sue - You can color code your employees and clients email simply by applying a rule using Conditional Formatting based on the distribution list or name of the individual. Let me know if you are having trouble with this. - Anonymous

Clatyon - you can change the background color using stationery in Outlook 2010. Let me know if you want a tutorial posted or if that doesn't do it for you.
