I suppose this occasion isn't really all that historic, but I feel like there's a lot of pressure to get this first post just right for posterity.  It needs to set a tone.  Educational but entertaining?  Informative yet engaging?

On the other hand, maybe the important thing is just to wade on in to this whole blogging thing.  From what I understand the difficult thing is to keep it going...  In that case, I guess the important thing is to keep it simple - the last thing I need is another chore, so if these posts turn into one I will no doubt just abandon them altogether.

In any case, my plan is to use this blog to post tips and tricks related to Team Build, the build automation feature of Team Foundation Server (I'm a developer on the Team Build team).  I hope to keep it vaguely entertaining as well, which to me typically means sprinkling in various pop culture references (such as:  mmm... forbidden donut), silly banter (see above), etc.

If you, my dedicated reader(s), have particular issues you would like to see discussed, please feel free to send me email through the handy form at https://blogs.msdn.com/aaronhallberg/contact.aspx.
