Niet-beheerders toestaan printers te installeren in macOS

Voor het installeren van printers in macOS moeten gebruikers standaard beheerders zijn. Deze standaardinstelling wordt beheerd door de beleidsinstellingen in /etc/cups/cupsd.conf en kan worden gewijzigd.

Als de apparaten van uw gebruikers worden beheerd door een MDM-oplossing zoals Intune of jamf, kunt u een script gebruiken om het bestand bij te werken en beheerdersbevoegdheden uit het autorisatiebeleid te verwijderen. Zie het onderstaande voorbeeldscript.

Instructies

  1. Werk de <Limit> richtlijn op regel 59 bij om toe te voegen CUPS-Add-Modify-Printer. Deze tag is de standaardtoegangsgroep zonder Require component. Als u deze wijziging aanbrengt, kan elke gebruiker printers installeren/verwijderen/wijzigen.
  2. Werk de <Limit> richtlijn op regel 75 bij om te verwijderen CUPS-Add-Modify-Printer. Voor deze toegangsgroep zijn machtigingen vereist @SYSTEM , dus we willen deze vereiste verwijderen.

Voorbeeldbestand

Als u het cupsd.conf bestand op andere manieren niet hebt gewijzigd, kunt u deze inhoud precies kopiëren/plakken. Anders dient het als referentie. Het oorspronkelijke bestand is ook hieronder ter vergelijking.
