WDDM DMA Split (Force Split Points)

This automated test verifies that whenever a Direct Memory Access (DMA) buffer references multiple resources, the video driver will insert enough split points for this buffer to be run in parts. The test puts the operating system into a mode that causes it to always use all split points that the driver specifies. Video drivers must not cause the system to crash or hang during this test.

This topic applies to the following test jobs:

  • WDDM DMA Split (Force Split Points)

  • WDDM DMA Split (Force Split Points) (WoW64)
