WDDM Handles - Invalid Param First Group

This automated test verifies that kernel-mode drivers are stable when they process handles that are invalid or of the incorrect type.

The test intercepts handles that the operating system kernel returns to the user-mode driver. It then modifies the handles. User-mode drivers can then generate invalid commands and handle lists that are passed to the kernel-mode driver. Kernel-mode drivers must not fail or hang during this test.

This topic applies to the following test jobs:

  • WDDM Handles - Invalid Param First Group

  • WDDM Handles - Invalid Param Second Group

  • WDDM Handles - Invalid Param Third Group
