WDDM Coherency

This automated test validates that GPU and CPU accesses to aperture segments are flushed correctly. The test ensures coherency of the data accesses between both processors.

The Windows® Display Driver Model (WDDM) coherency test invokes a test that is embedded in the Windows Vista kernel. The test validates that accesses to Accelerated Graphics Port (AGP) and Peripheral Component Interconnect (PCI) Express aperture segments are coherent and correctly cause cache flushes. To pass this test, AGP chipset drivers and video drivers must correctly flush caches when the operating system instructs them to do so.
