A DTE object.

Remarks

In Visual Studio, the DTE object is the root of the automation model, which other object models often call "Application".

Examples

This example selects the second ToolBoxItem2 item and displays its name in a message box. The example also displays the caption for the active window, obtained through the ToolBoxItem2.DTE object.
