CodeStruct.IsAbstract Property

Sets or gets whether or not an item is declared as abstract.

Namespace:  EnvDTE
Assembly:  EnvDTE (in EnvDTE.dll)

Syntax

'Declaration
Property IsAbstract As Boolean
bool IsAbstract { get; set; }
property bool IsAbstract {
    bool get ();
    void set (bool value);
}
abstract IsAbstract : bool with get, set
function get IsAbstract () : boolean
function set IsAbstract (value : boolean)

Property Value

Type: System.Boolean
A Boolean value indicating true if the item is declared as abstract; false otherwise.

Remarks

IsAbstract returns or sets whether the class currently appears to be abstract (the class may not be declared abstract, but it may be implicitly), or whether it requires a subclass that fills in method implementations that are missing due to abstract methods. For some languages, this may always be Ffalse.

Note

The values of code model elements such as classes, structs, functions, attributes, delegates, and so forth can be non-deterministic after making certain kinds of edits, meaning that their values cannot be relied upon to always remain the same.
