ManifestReader.ReadManifest Method (String, Boolean)
Reads the specified manifest XML and returns an object representation.

Parameters
path
Type: System.StringThe fully qualified path name of the input file. For example, the full path may be c:\directory\folder\filename.manifest.
preserveStream
Type: System.BooleanSpecifies whether to preserve the input stream in the InputStream property of the resulting manifest object. Used by ManifestWriter to reconstitute input which is not represented in the object representation.
Return Value
Type: Microsoft.Build.Tasks.Deployment.ManifestUtilities.Manifest
A Manifest object representation of the manifest. Can be cast to AssemblyManifest, ApplicationManifest, or DeployManifest to access more specific functionality.
