AL.BaseAddress Property

This API supports the .NET Framework infrastructure and is not intended to be used directly from your code.

Gets or sets the address at which a DLL will be loaded on the user’s computer at run time.

MSBuild is now included in Visual Studio instead of the .NET Framework. You can use MSBuild 12.0 side-by-side with versions previously deployed with the .NET Framework.For more information, see What's New in MSBuild 12.0.

Property Value

Type: System.String
The address at which a DLL will be loaded on the user’s computer at run time.

Remarks

Applications load faster if you specify the base address of the DLLs, rather than letting the operating system relocate the DLLs in the process space. This property corresponds to the /base[address] option in Assembly Linker (Al.exe).
