ForbiddenHostNames.IsNameAllowed Method

IsNameAllowed is used to determine whether a named is currently forbidden.

Parameters

• name
  Type: System.String

  The name that you want to test against the forbidden names.

• hostType
  Type: Microsoft.TeamFoundation.Framework.Server.TeamFoundationHostType

  The type of host to check. Applications and ProjectCollections may have different restrictions and different forbidden names

Return Value

Type: System.Boolean
True if the name is valid for use.
