Remarks

You cannot create OutlookAddIn host items programmatically. Instead, use the ThisAddIn class that is automatically created in your add-in project. The ThisAddIn class derives from OutlookAddIn. For more information, see Programming Application-Level Add-Ins and AddIn Host Item.
