IDTSComponentPersist.SaveToXML Method

Saves a component to XML. Tasks and containers implement this method.

Parameters

• doc
  Type: System.Xml.XmlDocument
  The XML document to which to save the information.

• infoEvents
  Type: Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Runtime.IDTSInfoEvents
  An object that implements the IDTSInfoEvents interface for raising events (errors, warnings, and so on) during persistence.

Remarks

This method is available because you inherit this interface and override this method when you are creating custom objects. This method is intended for inheritance only and should not be called from code for other purposes. If you want to save a package, use one of the following methods:

• Application.SaveToXml

• Application.SaveToDtsServer

• Application.SaveToSqlServer

• Application.SaveToSqlServerAs
