Visual Basic and C# language reference
You can use the complete set of Visual Basic and C# language features when you develop Windows Store apps in Windows 8. However, you can't use the complete .NET Framework class library. The .NET for Windows Store apps overview article describes a streamlined view of the .NET Framework class libraries that includes only the types and members you can use to create Windows Store apps and Windows Runtime Components. The reference documentation for the languages is located in the MSDN Library, along with a description of the way the .NET Framework supports the Windows Runtime.
