XmlSchemaElement.ElementType has been deprecated. Use the ElementSchemaType property that returns a strongly typed element type instead.

Gets a common language runtime (CLR) object based on the XmlSchemaElement or XmlSchemaElement of the element, which holds the post-compilation value of the ElementType property.

This property is a post-schema-validation infoset property.

Important

The ElementType property is obsolete in the 2.0 version of the .NET Framework and has been replaced by the ElementSchemaType property.
