Serverless environment version 1
This article outlines the system environment information for serverless environment version 1.
To ensure compatibility for the application, serverless workloads use a versioned API, known as the environment version, which remains compatible with newer server versions.
You can select the environment version using the Environment panel in your serverless notebooks. See Install notebook dependencies.

- More reliable reloading of modified Python modules with improvements to
autoreloadWhen reloading modified Python modules imported from workspace files, theautoreloadextension now incorporates reliability and safety improvements. With these changes,autoreload, when possible, reloads only the portion of a module that has changed instead of the entire module. Additionally, Azure Databricks now automatically suggests using theautoreloadextension if the module has changed since its last import. See Autoreload for Python modules.
