Microsoft Virtualization for Developers
Virtualization is cool and there is more than just hype. We all got that. Developments in AMD and Intel processor architecture certainly help fostering adoption and spreading the technology. The newest processors have or will have support for virtual environments built in and products like Virtual Server 2005 R2 SP1 will take advantage in providing an even more powerful and reliable secure platform for virtualization solutions.
The latest chapter in virtualization with Microsoft is the VHD Test Drive.
To help the developer community learn more about the VHD Test Drive program, the Microsoft virtualization story and how to take advantage of virtual environments, we put together a 3 day developer lab full of stuff relevant to coders. Sign up for a lab in your area at: www.virtualizationevents.com. Here's what's in the box for you:
Training - Presentation and hands on experience with Virtualization experts
Roadmap - Microsoft virtualization technology roadmap
Application - Work on own applications
Installation - Set up and management of Virtual Server 2005 R2
Application Testing - Test your application in a virtual environment
Virtual Server for Developers - Learn about new APIs and WMI Interfaces
Build - Create your own preinstalled redistribution VHD
The free of charge lab is a mix of seminar and hands on experience. Find the detailed agenda here. Attached to this post more info.

Is there any contacts who can answer questions about this event? I'm currently signed up for the Dec 12-14 event and I'm unable to contact anyone to get my questions answered. I have tried multiple times but the e-mail address info@virtualizationevents.com gets bounced. If anyone out there knows who is running the event or could point me in the correct direction please e-mail me: brad(at)ucanbonline.net Thanks, I'm looking forward to hearing from someone soon, BradAnonymous
