Correcting other people's grammar issues?
English is not my first language. Stop laughing, I know you can tell from the poor grammar and spelling in my posts. You should hear me talk. Apologies and thank for reading my stuff anyway.
lifehacker plays devil's advocate and lets an anonymous reader ask the question of all questions: "What's a diplomatic way to correct the way someone speaks?"
Well, speaking for myself, I would love to improve and am grateful for hints and corrections! Asking guys I work with to correct my English worked only for about 30 seconds. Don't know what happened. Either they gave up on me, it was too tiresome or I made too many mistakes and a normal conversation would be impossible.
Corrections are important. Everybody wants to improve and help is always welcome. I guess it comes down to how you provide help.
I very much disagree with sp3nc3's comment: "The very, very sad fact of the matter is that people just don't care".

Your grammar appears better than 80% of americans to me.
