How to: Save a Trigger
You can save triggers to the database. When you save a new or updated trigger, it is added to the Tables folder.
Note
Your computer might show different names or locations for some of the Visual Studio user interface elements in the following instructions. The Visual Studio edition that you have and the settings that you use determine these elements. For more information, see Customizing Development Settings in Visual Studio.
To save a trigger
From the File menu, click Save <trigger name>.
If you are updating an existing trigger, a message box prompts you to confirm the save action. Choose Yes.
A saved trigger appears in the Tables folder in Server Explorer under the table that it is associated with.
