Ctrl (MouseEventArgs)

Microsoft Silverlight will reach end of support after October 2021. Learn more.

Gets a value that specifies whether the control (CTRL) key was down when a mouse event occurred.

value = eventargs.Ctrl

Property Value

Type: Boolean

true if the CTRL key was down when the mouse event occurred; otherwise, false.

This property is read/write, but should be considered read-only because there is no reason to change the reported information. There is no default.

Managed Equivalent

Get the value of Keyboard.Modifiers and check for Control.

Remarks

If the value of this property is true, there will also be a relevant keyboard event, which may not match the exact timing of the mouse event. This property reports the key state that existed when the mouse event occurred.
