Associates a SyndicationItem instance with the SyndicationItemFormatter.

Parameters

• item
  Type: System.ServiceModel.Syndication.SyndicationItem
  The SyndicationItem to associate with the SyndicationItemFormatter.

Remarks

This method is protected and cannot be called from user code. To associate a SyndicationItem instance with a SyndicationItemFormatter, either create a new SyndicationItemFormatter instance and pass the constructor a SyndicationItem instance or load a SyndicationItem instance into the SyndicationItemFormatter by calling ReadFrom(XmlReader).
