This method retrieves the class identifier of an object.

HRESULT GetClassID(CLSID* pClassID);

Parameters

  • pClassID
    [out] Address of a variable that receives the CLSID.

Return Values

Returns S_OK if successful or E_FAIL if the CLSID could not be retrieved.
