This method gets the type of event, either message or user status.

HRESULT get_EventType(RTC_MESSAGING_EVENT_TYPE* penEventType);

Parameters

• penEventType
  [out] Pointer to an RTC_MESSAGING_EVENT_TYPE enumeration value specifying the event type.

Return Values

This method can return an RTC_E_ constant.

Requirements

OS Versions: Windows CE .NET 4.0 and later.
Header: Rtccore.h, Rtccore.idl.
Link Library: Uuid.lib.
