The following table shows the exception structures with a description of the purpose of each.

Structure	Description
EXCEPTION_POINTERS	Contains the following: An exception record with a machine-independent description of an exception A context record with a machine-dependent description of the processor context at the time of the exception
EXCEPTION_RECORD	Describes an exception.

Contains the following:

An exception record with a machine-independent description of an exception
A context record with a machine-dependent description of the processor context at the time of the exception

Describes an exception.
