Troubleshooting: Catalog Database is Corrupted (Windows CE 5.0)

Description

The Catalog database is corrupted.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, clean and rebuild the Catalog database by running the CleanDB.bat script, which is typically located in C:\Program Files\Windows CE Platform Builder\5.00\cepb\bin.

Note   If you clean the database using CleanDB.bat, Catalog item (.cec) files you imported since you installed Platform Builder will be disassociated from the Catalog. After cleaning the database, re-import these Catalog item files to associate them with the Catalog again.

If Platform Builder displays a message explaining that Generic.cec is missing, for more information, see Troubleshooting: Generic.cec is Missing.
