TaskLoggingHelper.LogMessageFromResources Method (MessageImportance, String, array<Object )

Logs a message with the specified resource string and importance.

MSBuild is now included in Visual Studio instead of the .NET Framework. You can use MSBuild 12.0 side-by-side with versions previously deployed with the .NET Framework.For more information, see What's New in MSBuild 12.0.

Parameters

  • messageResourceName
    Type: System.String

    The name of the string resource to load.

  • messageArgs
    Type: array<System.Object[]

    The arguments for formatting the loaded string.

Exceptions

Exception Condition
ArgumentNullException

message is nulla null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).

Remarks

Take care to order the parameters correctly or the other overload will be called inadvertently.
