DatabaseInformation.SupportsSupplementaryCharacters Property
A Boolean value that specifies whether the database default collation supports Supplementary Characters. Character with codepoint values larger than 0xFFFF require two consecutive 16-bit words and are called supplementary characters. Such collations end with _SC.
