FileTracker.StartTrackingContextWithRoot Method

Starts tracking file accesses, using the rooting marker in the response file provided. To automatically generate a response file given a rooting marker, call FileTracker.CreateRootingMarkerResponseFile.

MSBuild is now included in Visual Studio instead of the .NET Framework. You can use MSBuild 12.0 side-by-side with versions previously deployed with the .NET Framework.For more information, see What's New in MSBuild 12.0.

Parameters

  • intermediateDirectory
    Type: System.String

    The directory into which to write the tracking log files

  • taskName
    Type: System.String

    The name of the task calling this function, used to determine the names of the tracking log files

  • rootMarkerResponseFile
    Type: System.String

    The rooting marker in the response file.
