IVsTextStream.FindMarkerByPosition Method

Locates a marker of a given type based on a position in the text stream.

Parameters

  • iMarkerType
    Type: System.Int32
    [in] Specifies the type of marker to find.
  • iStartingPos
    Type: System.Int32
    [in] Starting position in the text stream. 

Return Value

Type: System.Int32
If the method succeeds, it returns S_OK. If it fails, it returns an error code.

This method searches for markers subject to the constraints specified using the dwFlags and iMarkerType parameters.
