SocialDataService.PropagateRating Method

Calculates the average rating for the list item at the specified URL and updates the corresponding list item with the average rating and rating count.

Parameters

    The URL of the list item to be updated.

Exceptions

Exception Condition
ArgumentNullException

url is null
UriFormatException

url is not a valid format.

Remarks

The update operation is ignored if the item was deleted or the list item is from a different farm.
