Remarks
The LocationType element is required if a URL element is present, but no known search result formats are specified in the Type attribute of the URL element. You can specify one of the following location types:
LocalSharePoint Specify this type for local SharePoint sites. This is the default value.
OpenSearch Specify this type for remote SharePoint sites and other OpenSearch providers.
FASTSearch Specify this type for FAST Search Server 2010 for SharePoint providers.
