Parameters

• pVal
  Returned reference to an IDataSource Interface.

Remarks

This property returns the IDataSource interface on the implementing object. In Collaboration Data Objects (CDO) for Microsoft® Exchange Server, a common use of this property is to use the Open method on IDataSource to open an item in the store.

If the IDataSource interface is not implemented by the object, then the Component Object Model (COM) exception E_NOTIMPL is raised.
