Removes a reference to a functional area from the functional areas to trace collection.

Syntax

The following sections describe attributes, child elements, and parent elements for this section.

Attribute	Description
name	Required string attribute. Specifies the name of the functional area for the trace provider to trace.

None.

Element	Description
configuration	Specifies the root element in every configuration file that is used by IIS 7.
system.webServer	Specifies the top-level section group (in ApplicationHost.config) in which this element is defined.
tracing	Configures request trace settings.
traceProviderDefinitions	Defines the trace providers that are used on the Web server.
add	Adds a trace provider to the collection of trace providers.
areas	Specifies the functional areas for the provider to trace.
